Everyone needs a Cookie recipe, and this one wins all the votes!! Are you ready to impress all your friends? 😋

It only takes 15 minutes to whip up a batch of these extra SOFT and DELICIOUS Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chip Cookies! This combination of sweet and sour will make these cookies, worthy of a grandmother's recipe, a must-have for your weekly cravings!

Ingredients (for 15 cookies) 🍪 (add a touch of Matcha) :

  • ½ cup unsalted butter (to melt)
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • (1 tablespoon of Gourmet Matcha )
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • 1 ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chunks or chips (I love milk chocolate chunks but for a healthier recipe you can use dark chocolate)

Little twist (for those with a sweet tooth) we added pieces of oreo and fleur de sel 😋

     Steps :

      1. Before diving into the preparation, a little tip: try to work quickly while preparing the dough because we want the hot butter to help melt the chocolate, resulting in a deeper cookie color!

      2. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees.

      3. Cut the butter into 6-8 pieces and melt it in a microwave-safe bowl for about 45-60 seconds.

Pro tip : cover the bowl with a paper towel to avoid splashes! We want that butter nice and hot, so check it after the first "pop." If it's not completely melted, do 5 second intervals until it's smooth.

      4. Immediately after removing the butter from the microwave , add the brown sugar and mix quickly on low speed for 10 to 15 seconds until well combined. Mix the hot butter with the brown sugar! For what ? This is our ticket to that delicious caramel color – so don’t skip this step!

      5. Add the peanut butter and mix for another 10 to 15 seconds on low speed until everything is combined. Keeping the speed low, add the eggs, vanilla extract, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Now add the flour (and Matcha) and mix again for 10-15 seconds until the flour disappears into the dough.

      6. Add the pieces of chocolate (or oreo + fleur de sel)! Let the dough sit for about 5 minutes – it will be less sticky.

      7. For cookies that look like they came straight from grandma's, give it another spin on medium speed after those 5 minutes. Beat for 20 seconds to add some air and make sure the melted chocolate does its magic, giving our cookies that dreamy, deep color. Trust us, this step is your shortcut to chewy cookie heaven!

      It's time to get cooking:

      8. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and form dough into balls. (For the creative types, squeeze a few extra pieces of chocolate on top.)

      9. Bake at 180 degrees for 10 to 11 minutes . You want them to be lightly browned on top and appear slightly undercooked (mine were perfect at 10 minutes).

      10. Take them out of the oven and let the entire tray cool on a rack. Let the cookies cool on the hot baking sheet for 10 to 15 minutes before moving them. This tip allows you to finish cooking on the hot plate. Once cooled, use a spatula to transfer them to a cooling rack.

And now, enjoy your meal! 🌟 Don’t hesitate to share with us the result of your gourmet creation. We would love to see your delicious cookies just waiting to be devoured! 🍪💖
